Colorful steel coil refers to a form of organic coating that is specifically applied to the surface of steel. This type of coating brings numerous advantages, such as an aesthetically pleasing appearance, vibrant colors, exceptional strength, effective corrosion resistance, seamless processing and shaping capabilities, as well as the ability to lower costs and minimize environmental pollution for users.
The manufacturing process of colorful steel coil involves using cold-rolled strip and galvanized strip (either electro galvanized or hot-dip galvanized) as the raw materials. These strips are first subjected to surface pretreatment, which includes degreasing and chemical treatment. Then, one or more layers of liquid coating are applied onto the strips using the roller coating method. The coated strips are later baked and cooled to complete the process.
